Teaching Opportunity

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking an experienced educator to join our vibrant school community. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, promoting academic excellence, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

About the Role

This is a one-year fixed-term, part-time position, requiring 24 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs
  • Provide support and guidance to students, parents, and colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
