Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Academic Professional to join our team as a Secondary Teacher. This role involves teaching a combination of Science, Mathematics, and Agriculture subjects to students in Years 7-12. The successful applicant will have a passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities- To teach Science, Mathematics, and Agriculture subjects to students in Years 7-12, using contemporary pedagogies and best practice approaches.
- To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement.
- To assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational goals and objectives.
- A tertiary qualification in Education or a related field, with a focus on Science, Mathematics, or Agriculture.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
- A competitive salary ranging from $53,710 to $77,350 per year, depending on experience.
