Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from inception to conclusion, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Maintain strict adherence to industry and company safety standards, implementing necessary safety procedures and safeguards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Business Development: Engage in business development activities to grow Mazzei Electric's market share in the region, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and partners.
  • Project Administration: Manage project administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, change order management, and progress billings, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical knowledge and expertise to project administrators, set clear goals and expectations, and coach/counsel employees for growth and development.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial aspects of projects, including job forecasting, budgeting, and cost control, to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Client Satisfaction: Maintain client satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Electrical Journeyperson Certification: Possess a valid Electrical Journeyperson certification or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Industry Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of industry products, practices, and standards, including electrical codes and regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-specific software, including Bluebeam, SiteDocs, Accubid, and Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
What We Offer

Mazzei Electric Ltd. offers a competitive salary of approximately $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year, plus bonus.
