Average Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)



Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with elderly individuals, providing exceptional care, support, and companionship in their own homes. As a Home Care Worker, you will have the chance to:




  • Offer one-on-one assistance and help with social outings, shopping, and domestic tasks.
  • Enhance seniors' quality of life by fostering belonging and fulfillment through meaningful interactions.
  • Support daily living activities, including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care needs.
  • Assist with respite care and help clients attend appointments and outings, promoting their independence.


This role requires flexibility to travel to different client locations and has flexible hours available, from Casual to Part-Time positions.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Full NSW Driver's License/access to a car and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Disability or related field (desirable).
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role working with people who are frail, aged, or have a disability.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable people and those from CALD backgrounds.
  • A sound understanding of Work Health & Safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • A current First Aid/CPR Certificate (advantageous, but training will be provided).
