Senior Molecular Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Molecular Scientist to join our team. As a leader in the field, you will be responsible for managing scientific and technical staff, overseeing testing activities, and ensuring operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will work in a state-of-the-art facility with one of the largest public Anatomical Pathology laboratories in the state. They will be part of a collaborative team working with scientists, technicians, administrative and medical staff to deliver high-quality pathology results for patients and clinicians.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage scientific and technical staff to achieve laboratory goals and objectives
  • Oversee testing activities to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation of laboratory services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification relevant to pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of accreditation frameworks, standards, and quality systems
  • Managerial experience in laboratory operations, administration, and budgeting
  • Familiarity with Pathology Laboratory Information Systems and Quality Management Systems
