About the Role

The Assistant Technical Airworthiness Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the ongoing sustainability of the 16th Aviation Brigade Maintenance Organisation certification under Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 145.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct scheduled and random audits to assure conformance to procedures and safety requirements.
  • Provide general and ongoing surveillance of the maintenance venue to further assure conformance.
  • Assist key maintenance staff in developing and improving internal procedures and processes.
Requirements
  • Quality System principles and aviation maintenance regulation knowledge.
  • Understanding of DASR 145, M and 66 compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Maintenance Organisation and exposition and associated instructions.
