Enterprise Storage Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Storage Specialist to join our team. As an Enterprise Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our enterprise storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Configuring, deploying, and overseeing enterprise storage systems, including SAN and NAS solutions;
- Providing expert advice to database and application teams on efficient and scalable storage solutions;
- Implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical business data;
- Ensuring data security policies and compliance with industry regulations and best practices;
- Coordinating storage provisioning, capacity planning, and lifecycle management to meet business storage requirements;
- Acting as the main point of contact for vendors and service providers to procure, upgrade, and maintain storage hardware and software;
- Automating storage management tasks using scripting and relevant storage management tools.
You will work closely with other IT teams, business units, and vendors to support operational efficiency and data management. This position requires strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, Azure Storage, and Object storage technologies. Experience with storage management platforms such as NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure Storage, IBM Storage, or similar is highly regarded.
In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent qualification;
- Experience in IT support with a focus on storage administration and management;
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, Azure Storage, and Object storage technologies;
- Hands-on experience with storage management platforms such as NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure Storage, IBM Storage, or similar;
- Experience with Backup, Recovery, and Archiving technologies such as Commvault, Azure Backup, and VMware SRM.
