Electrical Engineer Leader

As a seasoned Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and proposing electrical engineering solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and propose electrical engineering solutions for client projects
  • Manage project requirements and oversee execution
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports, and review and monitor projects to ensure customer requirements are met on time
  • Provide technical direction during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
  • Oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase order preparation
  • Lead a team of engineers on specific projects, including defining project requirements, assigning tasks, and supervising progress
Essential Skills:
  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering for the mining, minerals processing, and materials handling sectors
  • Previous experience in a consulting capacity in client-facing roles
  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to formulate and propose solutions to complex problems both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles, applicable local and international standards, and statutory specifications
Requirements:
  • A recognized electrical engineering degree
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, or supervisory qualifications
  • Professional registration or working towards Chartered credential is desired
  • Australian residency or possession of a valid visa with work entitlement in Australia
