Job Title: Senior Health Care Leader
This senior leadership role involves overseeing multiple responsibilities across quality of care, financial administration, general management, environment, and human resources to ensure high standards of care and operational excellence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in health care management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of high standards in nursing and social care, compliance with regulations, staff training, and innovative practices. Key responsibilities also include implementing health and safety policies, ensuring hygiene standards, and overseeing maintenance and catering quality.
The selected individual will participate in staff recruitment, training, and ensure compliance with employment legislation. A strong understanding of funding and fee structures is also essential for this role.
Requirements:
- A qualified RGN with at least 3 years' recent experience caring for older persons is required.
- The post holder should hold a post-registration management qualification in health or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' management experience in health and social care is essential.
- The selected candidate must be registered on the NMBI live register.
Desirable Qualities:
- Proven healthcare management experience, leadership, organizational, and communication skills are highly desirable.
- Financial acumen, team motivation, flexibility, and initiative are key qualities for this role.
