Bechtel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems (ICS) Engineer to join our Mining & Metals team in Brisbane, Australia. This role will report to the ICS Engineering Group Supervisor and be responsible for designing and specifying general instrumentation, valves, and DCS/PLC based control systems.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality CS&I engineering and design support to Bechtel projects, with a focus on material handling and process plant instrumentation design for small, medium, and large-scale projects. Key responsibilities include preparing Scope of Services, study reports, equipment specifications, and functional specification documents.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with 10-13 years of relevant experience. CPEng status and current RPEQ are also essential. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements is necessary, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal and external clients.
