About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team in delivering high-quality surveying services for our CopperString 2032 project.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in implementing and conducting advanced survey tasks, overseeing daily activities, and leading a survey team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high accuracy control networks, checking and validating design geometry, and mentoring juniors with a strong team ethic.

You will also collect, analyse, and collate survey data, perform survey set out and conformance to specifications, update designs and machine control models, conduct drone surveys, and produce accurate 3D point clouds.

In addition, you will advise the Survey Manager of any survey issues arising on site, determine quantities for progress claims, ensure equipment is serviced and calibrated, and conduct conformance checks with verification reports.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the mining, energy, or civil construction industry
  • Proficiency in 12D and Trimble Business Centre
  • Experience with Trimble GNSS and Robotic Total Stations, including Trimble Access
  • Machine Control experience with Trimble and Topcon
  • Geodetic survey control adjustment capabilities
  • RPA S ticket and UAV experience desirable
  • Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Trade qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint
