About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee day-to-day maintenance tasks, coordinate workloads and provide effective leadership to ensure compliance, efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, with a focus on leading teams and implementing best practices to drive business results.

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of maintenance activities to ensure seamless site operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs and enhance safety performance
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers and other key personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
  2. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  3. Managing and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, reports and documentation
  4. Providing input to the development of budget forecasts and financial plans to support business objectives
  5. Supporting the implementation of new technologies and processes to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness
About You To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 3+ years experience in a similar maintenance leadership role
  • Section 26 qualification (essential)
  • Australian recognized trade qualification (mobile mechanical or automotive electrical preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
