Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled architect to lead the design development of projects from concept to construction documentation stages.

This role requires expertise in project management, team leadership, and technical/design issues resolution.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conceptual design through execution, proficiency in Revit, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents.
  • Provide design support for completion and execution of design projects.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings and presentations; ensure client is adequately briefed on project progress.
  • Solve complex design problems through schematic design and design development.
  • Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
  • Participate in selection of palettes & material presentations, and generate specifications for client presentations.
  • Research and recommend appropriate systems, materials and finishes.
Requirements
  • Australian Registered Architect.
  • 6+ years minimum postgrad experience in Australia.
  • Strong understanding of NCC/BCA and City of Sydney Planning Regulations.
  • Advanced Revit user.
  • Strong project management & control, and team leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices.
