About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist to join our Pearl Supported Care team. As a Physiotherapist, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver services that optimise the well-being, mobility, pain management, and recovery of older adults living in residential aged care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-level physiotherapy assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with the needs and goals of our residents.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary care planning and participate in face-to-face handovers with nursing staff to ensure effective communication about resident needs.
  • Engage in case conferencing and problem-solving to address complex care needs and support residents on proactive reablement pathways.
  • Provide education and support to students on placements and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and capacity to optimise resident outcomes.
About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Physiotherapist who is passionate about health and wellness for older adults. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Physiotherapy, current registration with AHPRA, and experience working in residential aged care.

Key skills and qualities include:

  • Knowledge of residential aged care practice and experience with AN-ACC.
  • Experience working from a Healthy Ageing approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to use the Google Suite and in-house databases.
