Job Overview

The role of an Early Years Partnerships Officer is pivotal in implementing Wyndham City's partnership framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop infrastructure design solutions that support high-quality early years services and align with key frameworks and guidelines
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Early Years Partnership Framework by delivering expert regulatory advice, overseeing service agreements, and managing proposals
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with community organisations, developers, government agencies, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Family and Sector Partnerships team to develop and deliver clear project briefs, action plans, and communication strategies
  • Monitor service provider performance, ensure compliance with requirements, and champion continuous improvement to boost service quality and efficiency
  • Model organisational values through actions, decision-making, and relationships
  • Take initiative and contribute to a wide range of projects and priorities that support team and organisational goals

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline such as community development, public policy, public health, social sciences or related field
  • Experience in developing and facilitating partnerships to build relationships and achieve joint outcomes
  • Experience working collaboratively with community groups, businesses, and organisations to achieve joint outcomes
  • Current driver's licence and Working with Children Check required
