Job Overview:

As a highly respected Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) professional, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and thriving work environment as the EHS and Rail Safety Manager at our Ballarat site. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive EHS risk assessments, implementing measures to control and mitigate risks, and overseeing the EHS function on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain procedures and tools tailored for our EHS Management System.">
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of the site.">
• Collaborate with site teams to foster and enhance the EHS culture.">
• Prepare and deliver EHS training plans and programs.">
• Facilitate internal EHS audits and reviews of the EHS reporting process.">

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold qualifications in Workplace, Health and Safety.">
• Have a deep understanding of local legal requirements, particularly in the context of Rail Safety.">
• Exhibit initiative, drive, resilience, and ability to engage stakeholders.">
• Have previous experience in the rail industry or similar safety-critical environment.">
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of safe working systems, rules, and procedures.">
• Be able to support and inspire teams.">
