At the forefront of delivering high-quality early childhood education is our Lead Educator role. We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our team, who will play a pivotal part in shaping the educational journey of young children.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Create and implement educational programs that embody the Reggio Emilia philosophy, taking into account the unique interests and developmental stages of each child.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of educators, promoting professional growth and ensuring seamless delivery of educational programs.
  • Child Progress Monitoring: Regularly observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and planning personalized learning experiences.
  • Family Partnerships: Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed about their child's experiences and development.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized learning environment.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing training and professional learning opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications and Experience

We require a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an early childhood education setting is necessary. Strong understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach and its application in early learning environments is expected.

Strong leadership and team management skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required. Current Working With Children Check and Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect (RRHAN) training is mandatory. Experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting is desirable. Familiarity with the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is advantageous. First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications are also necessary.
