We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Ozcare. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key role in setting clinical standards and providing leadership and direction to clinical employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and provide comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection, referral, and health promotion
- Co-ordinate and regularly evaluate the effects of care provided through planner reviews and assessment, or as required, in consultation with client, carer, and multidisciplinary team
- Participate and initiate community collaborations and partnerships that contribute to client care services
- Provide support and direction to Registered Nurses
Requirements:
- Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- Current CPR Certificate
- Immunisation Program Nurse (IPN) Certificate
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated application of advanced level clinical and problem solving skills
- Prior community nursing experience will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer software in the delivery of care services
