About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Signal Electrician to join our team at ARTC Muswellbrook. As a Signal Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and signalling systems on our rail network.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced signal electricians, engineers, and technicians to ensure seamless railway operations.
  • Participate in our comprehensive training program to become a Qualified Signal Electrician.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in all aspects of your work.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A deep commitment to safety and a proactive attitude to challenge and improve existing practices.
  • A valid electrical licence.
  • The willingness to pursue and complete a Cert IV in Rail Signalling.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Demonstrated experience in fault identification, maintenance, and proficient repair skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, complemented by adeptness with computer systems.
  • A readiness to travel within the Hunter Valley region and an eagerness to accommodate overtime as required by ARTC.
  • A Class C driver's license.
