We are seeking a Disability Employment Consultant to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to become work-ready and find sustainable employment.

APM's Employment Services Programs operate from over 400 sites nationally, and as a Disability Employment Consultant, you will be based at our Mitchelton site. We strive to lift people up, supporting them in employment, independence, and improved wellbeing.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering first-class customer service. As a key stakeholder, you will build relationships with job seekers and employers to maximize job opportunities.

You will source employment opportunities, help job seekers identify their skills, abilities, and secure employment, deliver ongoing outstanding customer service, increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and support services, and create and implement joint job plans to support a clear pathway to employment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Able to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
