Job Opportunity for Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to provide high-quality care and education to a 6-year-old child in Murwillumbah.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Children's Services, a current First Aid and CPR certificate, and other relevant qualifications and certifications.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including Monday to Friday, Sunday, and occasional evenings.

The hourly rate for this position is $39.00 per hour, inclusive of superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a safe and nurturing environment for the child.
  • To plan and implement educational programs that promote the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • To establish a positive relationship with the child and their family.
  • To maintain accurate records of the child's progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Children's Services (ACECQA approved).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • WWCC.
  • Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
  • Public liability insurance.
  • Medical Clearance.
  • Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years).
  • ABN (this role is for a self-employed/contractor).
  • Photo ID.
  • PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this).
  • Reliable car and driver's licence.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 7am-9:30am, 2:30pm-5pm.
  • Sunday: 12pm-5pm.
