Job Title: Supportive Caregiver for a Young Child

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate caregiver to support the daily needs of our 9-year-old son. The ideal candidate will be a warm, reliable, and emotionally intelligent individual who can establish a strong bond with our child.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the child with morning and afternoon routines, including breakfast, homework, and instrumental practice. They will also provide transportation to school and after-school activities, as well as prepare the child's lunchbox for the next day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the child with daily routines, including morning and afternoon shifts
  • Assist with school pick-up and transport to after-school activities
  • Help with homework and instrumental practice
  • Prepare the child's lunchbox for the next day
  • Meal prep following an easy-to-follow meal plan
  • Assist with afternoon routine chores, including emptying the dishwasher, laundry, changing towels/sheets, and tidying bedrooms/toys
  • Light household tasks, including emptying the dishwasher, laundry, and changing towels/sheets

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • Current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Current Blue Card
  • Strong communication skills and English language proficiency
  • Full driver's license and own car (mileage/petrol to be reimbursed)
