Product Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a talented professional to join our product planning and development division in a max term role for 12 months.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business drivers, sales, and product lifecycles, with the ability to apply market research and financial analysis to support pricing and product decisions.
The successful candidate will develop pricing strategies by analysing market trends, competitor positioning, and passenger vehicle lifecycle performance to optimise competitiveness and profitability.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with customer expectations, sales goals, and profitability targets.
- Assist in shaping model line-ups, grade specifications, and accessory offerings for SUVs, using market insights to meet customer needs and sales objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on pricing proposals and product planning progress, highlighting issues, recommending solutions, and ensuring alignment across teams.
- Maintain accurate pricing and product information in business systems to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
- Ensure the clarity and accuracy of technical content in specification sheets and marketing materials, while monitoring compliance with relevant regulations and standards to minimise risk.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field, with experience in marketing, product planning, and pricing—ideally within the automotive industry.
Requirements include:
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to adapt strategies and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of business drivers, sales, and product lifecycles.
- Passion for the automotive industry, with knowledge of vehicle systems, technical terminology, and market trends.
