Network Infrastructure Transformation Lead

Victoria University seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the delivery of its Network Refresh program.

The successful candidate will oversee the transformation of the university's network infrastructure, rationalizing legacy systems, reducing technical debt, and improving performance and security across all campuses.

This is a university-wide leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, governance oversight, and the ability to operate confidently at executive and Council levels.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Network Refresh program
  • Ensure alignment with VU's Strategic Plan and long-term technology vision
  • Support other major projects as required

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in IT, program management, engineering, or business, with extensive experience in large-scale transformation programs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience working with senior executives and governance bodies
  • Experience in financial management, procurement, and reporting
  • Familiarity with program methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, and MSP
  • A commitment to service excellence, innovation, and leadership
