The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Solutions Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the development of robust, scalable, and secure network solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in telecommunications architecture, network engineering, or infrastructure strategy. You will also have a deep understanding of telecom technologies including MPLS, SIP, LTE/5G, SDN, and unified communications.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and architect end-to-end telecommunications solutions across voice, data, mobile, and IP networks
  • Complete IP network design including IP spreadsheets with the network design, network diagrams, device configuration for the system and actual configuration of the switches and firewalls, as well as assisting the VMWare lead on the networking configurations within VMware
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure seamless implementation and performance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments to enhance connectivity and service delivery
  • Define and implement best practices for network and capacity management
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across network transformation programs

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education in IT, Telecommunications or Engineering (Mandatory)
  • Proven experience in telecommunications architecture, network engineering, or infrastructure strategy
  • Deep understanding of telecom technologies including MPLS, SIP, LTE/5G, SDN, and unified communications
  • Experience with enterprise-grade platforms and integration tools
  • Strong knowledge of network security, identity management, and performance optimisation
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, TOGAF, AWS Networking, etc.) are highly desirable
  • Experience in large-scale network transformation or telecom modernization projects
