Clinical Educator – Aged Care Specialist

The Role: Clinical EducatorClinical Educators are key members of our team, supporting direct care staff to enhance their knowledge and skills through various educational tools and development methods. Based in our Darwin office, this role involves collaborating with the Coordinator Clinical Education & Training to build:
- a workforce capacity to deliver safe, evidence-based care using reflective practice, practice development, critical thinking, mentorship, and adult learning principles;
- a consumer-focused learning culture that promotes clinical and care practice innovation, supported by contemporary and evidence-based knowledge;
- a proactive and receptive care workforce team adaptable to changing models of care and clinical practice.
This opportunity suits an experienced RN looking to transition into education and mentoring roles, ensuring high-quality care delivery across our facilities. The successful candidate will be passionate about cultivating a skilled workforce and comfortable working independently, with occasional travel to remote locations within the NT.
Benefits- $120,000+ gross base salary plus superannuation;

- Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registration;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desired but not essential);
- Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coach, utilizing contemporary education and teaching methods to foster a learning culture;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment;
- Ability to design and evaluate education and learning activities aligned with individual learning needs, using adult learning principles;
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and teaching new approaches to practice, linking evidence to improved consumer outcomes and experiences;
- Understanding of nursing scope of practice, delegation, and supervision of self and others;
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to drive/travel as required, potentially involving long distances and overnight stays;
