Job Overview

The Australian Department of Infrastructure seeks a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Assistant Director - Assurance, Integrity, Risk and Governance Branch. Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading the capability uplift to ensure it meets legislative, policy, and legal frameworks, with a focus on integrity and fraud control.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities in the department's fraud and corruption control risk assessments and recommend risk mitigations.
  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to stakeholders on fraud and corruption control matters.
  • Developing education and awareness activities to promote a culture of integrity and prevent fraud and corruption.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor language to different audiences.
  • Ability to distil complex information and quickly identify critical issues to formulate appropriate advice and guidance.
  • Engaging effectively with stakeholders and colleagues, with a demonstrated ability to build productive relationships.
