Program Manager Position Overview

Davidson is currently partnering with a government department to seek an experienced Program Manager to join their information technology business unit. The unit provides services to all divisions within the department and they're looking for a Program Manager with proven leadership skills to lead the execution of case management and analytics solutions to mitigate risks in high-risk industries.

High-Level Summary:

  • Responsible for delivering program plans, breakdown structures, project plans, financial models, and plans.
  • Leading engagements with vendors and stakeholders, including documentation of engagement and vendor statements of work.
  • Providing documentation, procurement plans, presentations, training materials when required, and various strategic documents.
  • Collaboration with project teams along with other related duties when necessary.

About You:

  • Proven experience owning and managing large-scale ICT improvement or transformation programs and projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder skills, including confidence in speaking with senior leadership and vendors.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience using Agile methodology.
  • Experience managing and implementing changes to business systems over the software development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering an end-to-end program of work enhancing advanced data analytics capability.
