Laboratory Technician

About the Role
Healius is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Histology-Laboratory Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated diagnostic testing, specimen storage and retrieval, equipment maintenance and operation, maintenance of records, and assisting with stock control.
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including a Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Associate Degree or equivalent, and previous laboratory experience, preferably in diagnostic testing. You will also need to be a cohesive and contributing member of the team, with strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills. Additionally, you will need to be aware of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures.
