Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Vision Australia. As a Disability Support Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients who are blind or have low vision to help them achieve their goals and live independently.

About the Role
  • You will conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized plans to address these needs.
  • You will work with clients to assess their capacity for independent participation in daily activities and provide training and support to enhance their skills and abilities.
  • You will also train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment to improve access to developmentally appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop comprehensive plans to address these needs.
  • Provide individualized training and support to clients to enhance their skills and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with clients who are blind or have low vision.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including base salary of $88,000 per year (pro rata), plus superannuation and salary packaging up to $15,900 per year.
