Role Overview:

As a Trainer and Assessor for the Diploma of Community Services, your primary responsibility will be to organize and deliver the educational program while ensuring adherence to the VET Quality Framework. You will be expected to comprehensively map to the units you are assigned to teach. This position offers the flexibility to work from home during non-teaching hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality educational services to students
  • Conducting training and assessment of units to facilitate effective learning
  • Maintaining precise records of student progress

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma level qualification in a relevant field or higher, along with a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an equivalent/higher qualification. A minimum of two years of industry experience in the community services sector, coupled with a robust understanding of both theory and practice, is essential for this role.

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Diploma of Community Services
  • Experience in working with international students in vocational education
  • Proficiency in learning management systems such as Moodle

Please be aware that a valid Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for this position. Successful candidates will need to obtain this check, with reimbursement provided. If you hold a VIT Provisional Registration or Teacher Registration, a separate WWCC will not be necessary.
