The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rostering Officer to join our team in Gregory Hills, Sydney. As a Rostering Officer, you will be responsible for creating and managing staff rosters using our system, Flow Logic. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient allocation of staff to meet the needs of our participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Matching: Matching the skills and qualifications of support workers to the needs of participants.
- Rostering: Creating and managing staff rosters, including forward rostering, workforce planning, and reactive rostering.
- Communication: Communicating with participants and staff regarding shifts and care needs.
- Review: Checking shift notes and times for accuracy.
Requirements
- Experience in rostering or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of working with people with disabilities.
- Knowledge of or familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to multitask under pressure.
- High level of computer literacy.
