About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at RSM, a leading professional services firm. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the business objectives of our clients.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will work closely with our IT teams and stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient IT solutions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring operational excellence by continuously monitoring, evaluating, and improving IT infrastructure and network performance.

You will also be responsible for protecting digital assets by ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of IT systems and data. This includes collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to implement security measures such as firewall policies and IPSec tunnels.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, including Azure, and experience in managing and deploying common Azure services. You should also have experience in network management, routing, security, systems administration, and cloud technologies.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to have excellent written, interpersonal, and consultative skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, flexible working arrangements, and professional development opportunities.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect who has a strong track record of designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions. You will have a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, and recognised industry certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, Vmware, Cisco, CompTIA.

Experience in deployment and administration of databases (MSSQL, Azure Cosmos, Azure SQL as service) is desirable. You will also need to have proficiency in automation, scripting, and programming languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
