Job Title: Early Childhood TeacherWe are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Sparrow Early Learning Bunyip. This role involves developing and delivering funded kindergarten programs within our long day care setting.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a VIT Registered ECT with a true passion for Early Childhood Education & Care. You will be responsible for working in partnership with the leadership team to plan a rich and diverse educational program, including community excursions and in-house incursions and programs.
The successful candidate will have high-level knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, as well as experience working with children with a range of abilities and interests.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver funded kindergarten programs
- Work in partnership with the leadership team to plan educational programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum documents
- Bachelor of Education (in Early Childhood Education) and VIT Registration
- High-level knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current & Valid Working with Children check
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Experience working with children with a range of abilities and interests
