Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Program Facilitator to join our team at Ravenhall Correctional Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for upskilling and supporting clients in a wide range of employable skills directly related to participation within this trade skills program.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and a capacity to relate well and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Other requirements include:

  • Basic computer literacy and written skills
  • Exemplary levels of professionalism and integrity
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision

Preferred qualifications include a Forklift Licence, Drivers Licence, Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 30110) and Furniture Making Qualification, as well as relevant qualifications in trade related skills.

As a Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Ravenhall Prison stakeholders, contract partners and Bridge Project staff. You will also be responsible for delivering a quality service by seeking stakeholder and Bridge Project management feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate meaningful and purpose-driven trade related training and activities
  2. Maintain a strong focus on the delivery of a quality service
  3. Accurate statistical data collection
  4. Develop and manage appropriate communication strategies with all participants, staff, stakeholders and the Bridge team
