HVAC Technician Job Description

The HVAC Technician is responsible for providing technical services to a range of clients across diverse settings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide reactive and preventative maintenance to clients with heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Effectively diagnose problems and perform technical work on HVAC systems.
  • Self-manage workload with the ability to determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor apprentices and provide onsite training.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers ensuring concerns and complaints are proactively addressed.
  • Work closely with colleagues and managers within the region to foster a strong team environment.
  • Maintain current industry knowledge and stay updated with changes and advances in refrigeration, air conditioning systems, and technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Experience
  • Western Australian Full or Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Applicable Trade Licence
  • Australian National Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Central Plant Experience is Ideal
