Job Title: Director, Transactions

About the Role:

The Director, Transactions will lead a high-performing team responsible for transaction management activities and project approvals to ensure successful delivery of large-scale redevelopments as part of the High-rise Redevelopment Program.

This requires relevant experience and a deep understanding of both the public and private sectors in terms of project delivery coupled with a track record of innovation within a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement interactive tendering processes in accordance with the agreed probity and process frameworks, High Value High Risk (HVHR) guidelines.
  • Oversee and coordinate the development of the tender documentation, Public Sector Comparators, land & lease valuation process, market engagement, tender evaluations, and contract & financial close process.
  • Successfully engage and negotiate with government stakeholders, institutional investors, developers, builders, community housing agencies, and other key industry players.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in transaction management and project delivery within the public sector.
  • Deep understanding of the public and private sectors and their respective project delivery methodologies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
