The Family Services Practitioner is a key member of our team, working closely with vulnerable children, young people, and their families to provide support and guidance. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of child development, trauma, and family dynamics, as well as excellent interpersonal and case management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage case work and coordinate supports for vulnerable families and children
- Develop and implement family-centered case plans with families and children
- Build and maintain positive relationships with other service providers
- Operate within Baptcare's policies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Commit to the safety, well-being, and best interests of children and young people
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or social welfare
- Minimum two years' experience in a related field
- Current motor vehicle license and ability to travel
- Current satisfactory national police check and Working with Children Check
- Competency in using Microsoft Office software
