Job Opportunity

The Medico-Legal function is accountable for safeguarding the confidentiality of patients and caregivers, encompassing the disclosure of information in accordance with The Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (HRIPA).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Processing requests for information from patients, third parties, and hospital executives for the provision of copies of medical records, medical reports, statements of attendance, deceased paperwork processing, summaries of injury, and expert witness statements as permitted and/or directed under current legislation and NSW Health Policies and Directives.
