Senior Business Analysis Role

The payments industry is shaping the future of payments for Australia. We aim to deliver more innovation to Australia's payments ecosystem, benefiting Australian businesses and consumers.

Our solutions include domestic debit networks, real-time data-rich payments infrastructure, secure bill payments, digital identity verification, QR payments, and experiences, as well as open wallet solutions.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, contributing to the overall success of projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering requirements through the delivery and operational life cycle, defining and managing scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation activities.
  • Modeling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Validating systems, products, or services against user stories, metrics, and targets.
  • Supporting and driving the implementation and testing of solutions.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in practices and tools (Waterfall/Agile, Jira).
  • Understanding of payment technology and the financial industry.
