Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Panthers Penrith. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring that all patrons have a positive experience.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Security Officer, preferably within the hospitality industry. You must be physically fit, reliable, and punctual, with strong customer service skills and clear written and verbal communication abilities.

You will be required to manage high-pressure situations, maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers, and adhere to Panthers policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements.

A current 1A Security License, First Aid, RSA, and RCG qualifications are essential for this role, along with a current Driver's License, as you may be required to complete off-site tasks on occasion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the security of our premises, including property and personnel
  • Concierge duties, including meeting and greeting members and guests
  • Ensuring patron adherence to entry regulations
  • Monitoring patron behavior and RSA compliance
  • Managing intoxicated patrons
  • Maintaining effective relationships with external and internal customers
  • Adhering to Panthers policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Security Officer, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Physical fitness, reliability, and punctuality
  • Strong customer service focus, with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations
  • Strong attention to detail, tact, and diplomacy
  • CURRENT 1A Security License, First Aid, RSA, and RCG qualifications
  • Current Driver's License

Estimated Salary

$36.50 per hour (weekdays), $43.80 per hour (Saturdays), $51.11 per hour (Sundays), $73.01 per hour (public holidays)
