About This Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a highly engaged team focused on the transformation of a leading brand. As our Ecommerce Merchandise Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring products are merchandised effectively on the website.

As our ideal candidate, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading partnerships across suppliers to ensure remarkable website merchandising standards that continue to evolve as customer shopping behaviors change.
  2. Understanding customer shopping behaviors via multiple data points to make data-driven decisions on improving website merchandising and product discovery.
  3. Bringing merchandise products to life on e-commerce channels by ensuring all products are accurately categorized in the online hierarchy to support trade KPIs and customer experience.
  4. Maintaining and ensuring all products are optimized and enriched with relevant information to support discoverability via site search, brand, category, and site navigation.
  5. Maintaining and establishing e-commerce merchandising best practices across departments.
  6. Managing and ensuring completion of enriched and optimized product attributes, including title, description, and other relevant features and benefits.
  7. Establishing and maintaining consistent product imagery across products in line with web guidelines.
  8. Working with the User Experience team and external data agencies to continue optimizing product category navigation.
  9. Managing product, brand, and category optimisations in line with trade planning across all departments and supporting key trade stakeholders.
  10. Supporting stakeholders across the business to supply online products via PIM.
  11. Bringing new brands to the website, setting them up for ongoing trade success.
  12. Staying across SEO best practice and ensuring team adherence to improved optimization briefed by internal SEO teams or external agencies.
  13. Assisting the Ecommerce Trade team with any optimizations needed to drive trade success.
  14. Supporting Trade and Operations teams to align with business priorities and improved ways of working.
  15. Assisting with the setup of key marketing campaigns, such as Black Friday and Boxing Day sales.
You'll Need To Thrive:

A background and experience in a similar role is essential for this position. You should have an understanding of the e-commerce landscape in Australia and other similar markets, as well as knowledge of SEO principles and how product information feeds into SEO strategy.

In addition, you should possess strong activation skills and a desire to execute flawlessly. The ability to develop and support a team, create and maintain guidelines to improve ways of working, and understand site search and product attributes to support accurate results are also important qualities for this role.

Fastidious organization and time management skills are necessary to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
