About the Role

Hoban is seeking a dedicated professional to support the effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems across diverse and dynamic projects.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Health, Safety & Training Manager to develop and maintain health and safety procedures, systems, and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation and review of the Technical Services HSEMS and related strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining health and safety procedures, systems, and processes.
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of health and safety plans and audit schedules.
  • Developing statistical reports on HSEMS performance and supporting risk assessment processes.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and meet training needs.
  • Providing expert safety advice on high-risk activities in line with legislative requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Cert IV, Diploma, or Degree in WHS/OHS (highly desirable).
  • A Training & Assessment Qualification (desirable).
  • A strong working knowledge of WHS legislation.
  • Experience in the oil, gas, or mining industry (desirable).
  • A valid C Class Driver's License.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and work away from home when required.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
