About the Position: Tradewind Recruitment Australia is seeking experienced Family Violence Case Workers for a locum opportunity in Melton. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advocacy, referrals, and support to Aboriginal women and their children experiencing family violence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 10 families and provide individualized support
- Work onsite at the Melton office and through outreach as needed
- Develop and implement case plans to address family violence
- Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
- Experience in family violence casework or related fields
- Understanding of MARAM framework (or willingness to complete MARAM training)
- Strong advocacy, referral, and support skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
