Job Description

A leading organization seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to spearhead the migration of on-premises systems to Microsoft Azure. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex enterprise-scale cloud projects, leveraging expertise in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for end-to-end migration, encompassing assessment through optimization.
  • Design and implement Azure-native infrastructure solutions that meet security, scalability, and resiliency requirements.
  • Promote automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and modern scripting practices, ensuring seamless deployments.
  • Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Contribute to architecture reviews, cloud governance, and best practices, fostering knowledge sharing within the engineering group.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and handover materials to ensure continuity.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with migration tools (Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Arc).
  • Strong background in IaC (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and governance in Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Sentinel).
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in Agile or DevOps delivery models.
