Production Engineering Leadership Role

This leadership role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of gold from underground mining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans that meet operational targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans to align with operational objectives.
  • Manage stopes design and subsequent drill and blast plans to minimize dilution and maximize recovery.
  • Ensure business success by creating, implementing, and recording mine information to achieve safe and economic target delivery.
  • Lead and direct all members of the production team and operational mining team, fostering goal alignment through effective communication.
  • Proactively identify risks and threats to safely achieving targets and develop programs to mitigate or eliminate risks.
About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineer who possesses:

  • A WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (desired)
  • Completed a degree qualification in Mining Engineering (Supervisory or Management Training desired)
  • Substantial underground engineering experience, with exposure to various production phases, preferably gold
  • Possesses a valid Driver's License
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office and mining software, Deswik being highly regarded
