Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable professional to join our Privacy Team in a virtual environment within the Legal Services Division.

The team is responsible for managing the agency's response to privacy incidents and advising on privacy policy strategy. This involves assessing privacy incidents under the Privacy Act 1988, developing and maintaining privacy policies, coordinating privacy matters with external stakeholders, and providing operational privacy advice.

As a member of the Privacy Team, you will exercise independent judgement and identify opportunities for innovation. You will contribute to the delivery of the agency's Master Plan and strategic direction to achieve business outcomes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with the virtual team to manage workloads and statutory timeframes to deliver the agency's privacy obligations.
