Key Role:
The 4th International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference is seeking confident individuals to support the delivery of a high-profile event in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global audience committed to sharing knowledge for the health and wellbeing of Indigenous peoples and communities.
As a Session Chair and Conference Support Officer, you will be responsible for chairing sessions, introducing speakers, managing timekeeping, facilitating respectful audience engagement, and ensuring smooth transitions between presenters.
You will be well-prepared, punctual, and proactive; reviewing session materials in advance, arriving early to check setup, and responding quickly to in-room changes.
- Chairing or hosting sessions
- Reviewing session programs and speaker details
- Maintaining session timing and facilitating Q&A respectfully
- Liaising with AV staff to resolve technical matters
- Representing the conference professionally and contributing to its overall success
