Job Title: Farm Laborer

The primary objective of this role is to provide support in all aspects of farm operations, ensuring the highest quality produce and maintaining a safe working environment.

Farm laborers are responsible for assisting with tasks such as feeding, watering, and cleaning equipment, as well as planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops and crop equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily farm operations, including maintenance, repairs, and organization of farm facilities.
  • Operate and maintain tractors, mowers, and other machinery, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Perform routine tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, and organization of farm equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling equipment and chemicals.
  • Keep accurate records of checklists and activities.
  • Perform other duties as required by the farm manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Have reliable access to and from the work site.
  • Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to operate farm equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Strong focus and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Personal Hygiene.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain.
