About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Home Care Cleaner to join our team. As a Home Care Cleaner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to Aged Care and NDIS clients in their own homes.

  • Cleaning rooms, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up large objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
  • Cleaning restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Using bleach and other disinfectants to disinfect and sanitize rooms and restrooms.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Cleaning and maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in client homes.
  • Transporting dirty linens to the laundry room and restocking rooms with clean linens.
  • Setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Good English and communication skills.
  • A reliable car and the ability to travel between client homes per shift.
  • A mobile phone with internet access.
  • A current police clearance.
  • An ABN (Australian Business Number).
  • At least 12 months of house cleaning experience.
  • Triple COVID-19 vaccination is preferable, but not essential.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $30 per hour, plus superannuation. You will also enjoy flexible working hours, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work independently or with a partner.
